Who this covers

This disclosure applies to Early Learning Curriculums and to each of our method sites: Montessori, Reggio Emilia, Waldorf, HighScope and Bank Street Early Learning Curriculums (together, "the Sites").

What a paid link is

A paid link is a link to a product sold by another company — most often Amazon. If you follow that link and buy, that company pays us a small percentage of the sale. You pay the same price you would have paid without the link.

We do not sell these products ourselves

When you buy something we have linked to, you are buying from that retailer, not from us. They take your payment, ship your order, and handle any returns under their own terms.

Programs we take part in. We take part in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an advertising program that lets sites earn fees by linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. We may join other education and toy retailer programs over time; when we do, the same rules on this page apply to them.

How we choose what to recommend

We pick products because they suit a method and an age range, not because of what they pay. A higher commission never moves a product up a list, and no company can pay to appear on the Sites. When we have not personally used a product, we say so and describe what we based the suggestion on.

Our quizzes and assessments

Our assessments work only from your answers. The method or variation you are matched with is never influenced by what we might earn. Any products shown alongside your result may be paid links, and are labeled as such.

Where you will see this

You will find a short disclosure at the top of every blog post that contains paid links, above the products on every shop and product page, and directly above any products shown with your quiz results. This page is the full version, and it is linked in the footer of every page.
